The girls over at @treat.em have done an amazing job at creating these healthy alternative protein balls, slices and donuts. That’s right I said donuts!

I love their focus on real ingredients and naturally sourced ingredients, which definitely do not compromise any taste or flavour. Take my word for it, I have had my fair few of treats from these guys, and they do not disappoint. 

As all the ingredients are raw and naturally sourced, this leaves no room for nasty refined sugars, preservatives or artificial flavours. Alternatively, all the sweetness you’ll taste will come from dates filled with fibre and also pack an antioxidant punch. 

These protein balls are also packed with plant based protein powders and essential fats to keep you full for longer. Majority of the content of these treats include rich mono and polyunsaturated fats (healthy fats) including almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, peanuts and pistachios. Just to name a few of the great sources of unsaturated fats coming from these treats, contributing to your feeling of satiety and contributing to that desired mouthfeel you get from a dessert. Reducing your chances of eating the entire box, or reaching into the pantry for something else to curve that sweet tooth.
